INFI-Manizales is the Institute of financing and promotion that contributes to the administrative, economic, social, urban, rural, cultural, sporting, financial, institutional, physical, environmental and touristic development of the Municipality of Manizales. INFI-Manizales advises the local authority and its decentralized agencies in administrative, financial and technical matters. It also is responsible for the financing of public or social investment carried out by public institutions of Manizales, or in which the Municipality’s participation or of its decentralized entities exceeds 50%. The Institute can finance investments in any public utility company, whatever their legal nature and in any in which the municipality or any of its decentralized entities participates. It is responsible for providing financial and guarantee services to public municipal entities of Manizales. Infi-Manizales participates as a partner or shareholder in limited companies or with shares, that have direct relation with the finality of Infi-Manizales. It can fund projects, provided that the applications submitted by the central government for the creation, organization, reorganization, mergence, transformation and/or expansion of decentralized municipal entities. |
